Built with a cast-iron block, forged steel crankshaft, and an aluminum 24-valve DOHC cylinder head, the 2JZ-GTE is engineered to handle extreme horsepower — stock models produce 276–320 hp, but built engines easily exceed 800+ hp.
Two main variants are available:
